Our Story
Black hanwoo: calves under 24 months, hand-picked by the farmer, raised on a clean-feed program.
HEUKSOE is a premium hanwoo dining room in the middle of Busan's Seomyeon — the only place in the area where you can have black hanwoo and 1+ grade hanwoo on the same grill, on the same evening. Our black hanwoo program sources under-24-month calves, raised on a clean-feed program by farmers we work with directly, and supplied to the White House and to five-star and Michelin restaurants. By shortening the supply chain, we keep the price reasonable for what's on the plate. A quiet kitchen, careful butchery, a tidy eight-side banchan — built to hold a date, a family dinner, or a long evening with a glass.
